Tippers Dura Vermeer

Rearward tippers | Electrical Volvo 8x4 chassis
Working in partnership with Millenaar & van Schaik, we mounted eight insulated rearward tippers on a Volvo FME 8x4 chassis for Dura Vermeer. Angle sensors were used to control the tipping action so that the correct amount of oil can be supplied at each cylinder stage, thereby minimising the loss of energy. Dura Vermeer intends to use the tippers to transport asphalt and sand.

Two-sided tipper with lorry-mounted crane | Volvo FE 6x2 Electric
Working in partnership with Vrijbloed Transport, we completed this 100 per cent electric Volvo FE 6x2 Electric for Dura Vermeer. The first of its kind – never before has a vehicle of this nature, with such a lightweight structure, been constructed and deployed in the earth-moving, roadworking and hydraulic engineering industry. The lorry has less of a heavy-duty structure, thus enabling longer working hours with the same battery capacity.
